Snooker practice drills for players training alone

Over 60 drills covering the whole game, each with a table setup illustration, a ball-by-ball potting sequence and set-based tracking — so a session on your own has a target instead of a vague plan to “hit some balls”.

What is in the drill library

The library covers the four skill areas the app trains, and every drill carries a setup illustration, a description, a difficulty band, a shot count and the table areas it uses:

Focus areaWhat the drills cover
Break BuildingRed routines and colour clearances that string pots together into a break.
Potting AccuracyStraight pots, long pots, thin cuts, cushion and swerve pots.
SafetySafety shots that leave your opponent with nothing.
Escape SnookerEscapes from snookers, the part of practice most solo players skip.

Find the right drill in seconds

Filters narrow the library three ways, so you can practise the exact part of your game — or the exact part of the table — you came to work on:

  • By category — Break Building, Potting Accuracy, Safety, Escape Snooker.
  • By difficulty — Easy, Medium, Hard, Very Hard.
  • By table area — top, middle or baulk.

Each drill card also shows how much total time you have already spent on it, which quietly reveals the parts of your game you have been avoiding.

Practising a drill, set by set

Drills are tracked the way a gym app tracks lifts. You choose the reps and sets before you start, then work through them at the table:

  • A running session timer and a “sets completed” progress bar.
  • Start and finish each set individually, so every set's duration is recorded on its own.
  • Expand the setup illustration and description between sets to re-check the layout.
  • Write session notes while you practise, before the detail fades.
  • The screen stays awake, so your phone does not lock between shots.
  • A warning before you exit early, so an in-progress session is never lost by accident.

When you finish you get a summary — duration, sets completed, reps per set — and the record is saved to your history and counted towards your training plan automatically.

Drill details, before you set the balls up. Opening a drill shows a full-size table setup illustration, the potting sequence ball by ball, the focus area, difficulty and total shots, plus your last few records for that drill — date, duration, reps, sets and notes — so today's attempt has something to beat.

Frequently asked questions

How many snooker drills does the app include?

More than 60, covering red routines, colour clearances, straight and long pots, thin cuts, cushion and swerve pots, safety shots and escapes.

Can I choose how many reps and sets to do?

Yes. You set reps and sets before starting so the workload matches the time and energy you have, and each set is started and finished individually so its duration is recorded separately.

Does the app show me how to set the balls up?

Every drill has a table setup illustration and a ball-by-ball potting sequence, and you can expand both mid-practice without leaving the session.
