Your Day Zero Technical Partner

Don't give away 40% equity just to build your first version.

I provide the CTO-level strategy and the 7-day build you need to validate your idea—for $499. Keep your cap table clean. Own your code. Ship in one week.

No equity taken. 100% IP ownership yours.

The Problem

📉

Equity is too expensive for an MVP

Founders often recruit a co-founder too early, losing half their company before they even have users.

🏢

Agencies love "Bloat"

Typical shops quote $10k–$50k because they profit from complexity. I profit from your speed.

Execution without Strategy fails

You don't just need "someone who codes"; you need someone who understands market validation and investor timelines.

The Day Zero Roadmap

Day Zero is the moment before you have a product—when you have an idea, a problem to solve, and a market to validate. This roadmap gets you from that moment to a working MVP in 7 days, so you can test demand before investing in scale.

1

The Blueprint Session — $49

90-minute strategic deep dive.

  • Define the "Single Core Value Loop."
  • Aggressive de-scoping to ensure a 7-day launch.
  • Deliverable: A technical roadmap and blueprint you can use with me, another dev, or build yourself.

$49 is credited toward your build if you proceed.

2

The MVP Build — $499

7-day high-velocity execution.

  • Native-grade architecture — I recommend the best-fitting stack for your domain (e.g. Kotlin Multiplatform for mobile, React/Next.js for web).
  • Includes: Secure auth, 3–5 core screens or pages, backend/database, and a production-ready build (app stores, web deployment, or API).
  • Deliverable: Full GitHub repo ownership + source code.

Scale with a partner, not a vendor.

I don't disappear after Day 7. Once you have data, you choose your path:

Sai — founder of Sai Studio

Sai — Technical Expert & Day Zero Partner

10+ years in software. I've published apps, scaled products in weeks, and served as technical advisor for two early-stage startups. I've seen founders burn capital on overbuilt MVPs and others stall waiting for the "perfect" technical co-founder. I started Sai Studio because Day Zero shouldn't require giving away equity or betting $50k on an unvalidated idea. I don't just "build features"—I build businesses.

Ready to build your MVP?

Fast. Affordable. Founder-first.

Frequently Asked Questions

Strategic & Risk Management

Who owns the IP?

You do. 100% of the code and intellectual property are assigned to your company upon sign-off.

Why is this better than a technical co-founder?

It isn't "better," it's smarter for Day Zero. Prove your idea works first. It's easier to recruit an elite co-founder when you already have a product and users.

What if I bring in a technical co-founder?

No conflict. You own the code. Any developer can continue work—the repo is yours.

What if you and I work well together?

I offer long-term partnership possibilities. If the venture shows traction, I'm open to discussing ongoing Fractional CTO support or a formal transition into your team.

Why only $499?

Because I focus on one journey. Most MVPs are expensive because they are built on guesses. By being surgical about scope, I keep your costs low and your speed high.

What if you pivot before generating revenue?

Pivot-friendly. Extending the product = phased build. New product from scratch = new MVP package (cash only).

Is $499 realistic for a complex build like a mortgage or medical tool?

At $499, I'm not building a finished enterprise platform; I'm building your Single Core Value Loop. For a mortgage tool, that might be a secure borrower document vault or a validated qualification engine. I strip away the "noise" (compliance heavy-lifting, deep lender APIs) to prove your users actually want the solution. This de-risks your idea before you spend $50k on a full-scale build.

Do you have "Skin in the Game" if there is no equity involved?

My incentive is your traction. If my 7-day build helps you land your first 100 users or an angel check, I become your primary candidate for a Fractional CTO retainer or a long-term partnership. I profit from your success because a successful "Day Seven" leads to a "Year One" partnership. My business model relies on turning $499 validations into long-term strategic roles.

Am I on my own after Day 7? What about bugs?

I don't "ship and dip." Every build includes a 30-day Stability Warranty. If a user finds a bug in your core workflow on Day 10, I fix it for free.

Technical & Future-Proofing

Will a future Co-Founder or CTO have to scrap your "7-day rush job"?

I build "Investor-Grade Scaffolding." With 10+ years of experience, I don't write "disposable" code. I use industry-standard architecture and Clean Architecture principles. When your future CTO joins, they won't find a mess—they'll find a production-ready foundation that is easy to audit and scale.

What if the MVP feels "too thin" without heavy integrations?

A "thin" product that solves a real pain point is a Startup. A "thick" product with 50 features and no users is a Failure. I use the Blueprint Session to ensure the 3–5 screens I build are the most impactful ones. If you need a heavy integration (like a Plaid or Encompass API) to prove your concept, I can scope that as a separate, high-priority milestone post-launch.

Delivery & Scope

Can I take just the Blueprint session without the build?

Yes. The Blueprint session is fully standalone. You can use it with me, another developer, or build it yourself. Even taking just the Blueprint helps you clarify your scope and bring clarity to your product direction—no commitment to the MVP Build required.

What defines the scope of the MVP?

Core user journeys plus an essential support feature that fits your needs. I use Material 3 for UI where applicable. For more comprehensive builds, I add a full design phase and curated feature set.

What if my idea is complex?

I ship the smallest viable version in 1 week to get you to market. Scope is not carried on after MVP unless you choose to move up to the next package. Then I expand in phases based on real user feedback.

What's not included in 7 days?

Beyond core features: heavy custom design, third-party integrations, complex backend logic. I phase these post-launch.

Is there a maintenance period?

The $499 build is for validation and includes a 30-day Stability Warranty. Post-launch maintenance and feature expansions are handled through custom milestones or monthly retainers.

How are new features priced?

I estimate complexity and quote per feature. Rates are transparent and at market level—you keep building with someone who already knows your codebase.
